Albert Roy Yanca

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Albert Roy Yanca, son of the late Charles Yanca and Wilma Bertha Wolf Yanca, was born October 12, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois.  He departed this life May 6, 2026 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 86.  Albert proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Lynna Veltum September 20, 1969 in Salem, Wisconsin and together they raised two daughters.  Most of his working years were spent as a Branch Manager for Jays Potato Chips in Silver Lake, Wisconsin, retiring after 20 plus years of employment.  He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mountain Home.

Albert is survived by his wife of 56 years:  Lynna Yanca of the home; two daughters:  Mary Yanca Brown and husband John of Zion, Illinois, Jackie Yanca Moore and husband Brian of Oakcreek, Wisconsin; four brothers:  Charles Yanca of Colorado, Bill Yanca of South Carolina, Larry Yanca of Ohio, Miles Yanca of Nevada; three sisters:  Donna Camphouse of Illinois, Terri Croucher of Texas, Patricia Hollowood of Florida; three grandchildren:  Samuel, Erin and Natalie Moore; sister-in-law:  Janet Thompson of Calico Rock; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother:  Robert Yanca.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Cremation arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
